I am writing to thank you for your generous scholarship. I was very happy and appreciate that I was selected as the recipient of your scholarship. I am an Interdisciplinary Studies major with a concentration on Health and Society and a cognate on Political Science with a premedical track. I am interested in global health issues and getting this scholarship was a blessing. I truly enjoyed my time in Japan as I gained knowledge on their health care system
and culture. This scholarship has helped me take one step closer. By awarding me the Culture and Career Hybrid Scholarship, you have diminished my financial burden, which allowed me to focus more on the most important aspect of school- education and learning from cultures other than my own.
